Historic Bok Sanctuary - Lake Wales

An oasis of serenity and beauty atop 'Iron Mountain'  the highest point in Peninsular Florida, along with 128 acres of beautiful  gardens is a 205 foot  marble and coquina carillion tower and nearby,  the historic pinewood estate.  Visit their website for more information.  www.boksanctuary.org

Here are just a few Restaurants we would highly recommend from experience as good food and value for money:

Black Angus Steak house: This is a really good place to eat with a choice prime Angus beef grilled to perfection, BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Prime Rib, Soups & Salads, fresh Seafood including extra large Shrimp, Lobster Tails, Salmon or Swordfish. Angels Seafood Buffet Restaurant: Angels Lobster Feast is an all you can eat Lobster and Prime Rib buffet - Current cost is $36.95 plus taxes - however, they do an early bird special or you can usually get a coupon for $3.00 off from the local tourist guides you pick up from the Supermarkets. There is something on the buffet for everyone from fresh seafood, chicken and specialty desserts. Kids 12 and under eat free off the children's menu.

Bennigan's Grill & Tavern: There's a little bit of everything at this Irish themed restaurant, and great Irish beers too. Visit www.bennigans.com to view the menu

Outback Steakhouse: There's a little bit of everything at this Australian themed restaurant featuring the signature 'Bloomin Onion', uniquely seasoned steaks, prime rib, chops, ribs, chicken, seafood & pasta.  Serves Australian Beers & Wine. Visit www.outback.com to view the menu

Denny's: Serves traditional breakfast meals and specializes in signature meals. Visit www.dennys.com to view the menu - very good value, we'd recommend the lumberjack slam to set you up for a hectic day out!

Chili's  at Champions gate just 5 minutes from the Villa, we had fantastic service and a good meal - take a look at their menu on www.chilis.com
